How We Work
Teamwork is an important part of every design project whether you are building a new home, remodeling an existing space or
decorating one window. You are a very important part of the process and we are here to help you every step of the way.
Of course, we are always here to answer any questions you may have at any time. Communication is paramount to the
success of all projects, and we look forward to being your partner for many years to come. We are committed to staying
up-to-date with current design and home construction trends and to providing solutions and products that are socially
and environmentally responsible.
First Appointment:
The purpose of the initial appointment is to provide an opportunity for
us to meet, to get to know each other and to discuss the scope of your
project. We will discuss:
- Your needs and expectations
- Your personal style
- Your budget
- The other team members and their involvement – architect,
builder, trades people
- The level of eco-friendly solutions you desire
- Your time frame
Follow-up meetings:
The format of the follow-up meetings will depend upon the scope of
your project. For the smaller projects you could expect to be presented
with a complete design solution. For the larger projects we will:
- Set priorities
- Present fees and discuss budget
- Set expectations
- Set meetings with other team members – architect, contractor,
trades people, kitchen designer, etc.
On-going meetings:
The frequency of these will be determined by all involved and depend
upon the complexity of the work to be completed.
